The day kicked off with a jolt—my alarm blaring at 3:00 a.m. A whirlwind followed: scrambling to remember everything, tossing last-minute items into my bag, dressing for the day, brewing a much-needed coffee, and meeting Bill in the parking lot by 4:00 a.m.
We made a quick trip to the airport, checked my bag, breezed through security, and then settled into the boarding area for an hour. It was a strange mix of rush and relax—classic travel vibes.
Boarding was smooth, and the flight itself was excellent. I sat beside Forest, a 30-something musician, university student, and teaching instructor. We ended up chatting for most of the flight and even exchanged contact info—always nice when a seatmate turns into a good conversation.
By 9:30 a.m., I joined 11 other early arrivals on the sponsored shuttle to downtown. We disembarked at the Marriott, which will be my home base for the next five days. I requested a room with shower grab bars, so I’m currently waiting for it to be ready and enjoying the lobby WiFi in the meantime.

The next item on the agenda is registration at noon (Calgary time). Looking forward to officially kicking things off!
Registration is complete, and the energy is palpable as everyone gathers in Macleod Hall for supper. The room is buzzing with conversation and anticipation, setting the tone for what promises to be an unforgettable experience.
We’ve now transitioned into the Gathering, Welcome, and Worship stage. The setup is nothing short of impressive—from the elevated Dias flanked by two towering screens to the sea of over 600 attendees filling the hall. It’s a powerful sight, and the atmosphere is rich with excitement and reverence as the evening unfolds.

I have my room so current contact info if needed
