Start of Mary and Keith's Great Adventure. After several false starts we finally were packed and on the road about 9:40 Sunday Morning. We made Ingersoll before we realized that neither one of us had brought a watch. I think this is a good sign. We made Woodstock before Mary realized that she had not packed her earrings. Realized that we could pick up new ones cheaper than returning to get old ones. First stop was the Service Center at Cambridge for a nature break. Ran into Doug Wickens (former CT) and his wife - short chat. Got in line for coffee while Mary was in washroom but gave up when she came out, as line had not moved. Took 407 to 400 decided cost was worth avoiding 401/400 problems and construction. Later radio reports indicated this was a good decision. Ran into one section of stop and go traffic on 400 - gawkers to an officer and three cars at side of road. Drove straight through to Parry Sound. Started to get worried as Gas was below empty and no stations on our side of road. Went off at Bowes Road exit for Parry Sound and fueled up at Shell 86 litres - 91 litre tank. Got back on 69 and drove to Tim Horten/Wendy combo in Nobel about another 8 KM's. Girl on till overcharged us for our drinks - said because the combo included a medium drink and we only ordered a small we had to pay for it - they refunded me $1.25. Left and drove to the French River trading post. Great place, full of quality stuff and some junk - pricey but interesting. Mary picked up Earring replacement set # 1 - silver feathers. We also got some coated peanuts and some sucrose free fudge - Chocolate and Maple. Drove on to Carol Campground and RV Park in Sudbury. This is our home for the night - perhaps two nights but probably not as there is nothing top hold us in Sudbury. Set up was uneventful except it started to rain as soon as we got there. Once I realized that I could just sit inside until it quit and then set up. Quit soon, finished set up all OK. Mary started on Stephanie's smocked dress and I finished set up and put on the TV. Supper later, strip loin steaks, fresh radishes, peppers and tomatoes and baked potatoes - coffee and fudge for desert. After supper we went for a walk - phoned John Martha and Mother to tell them to use the 495-cell phone as mine was not getting reception Asked John to pass along to Bill. Got to say goodnight to Joe Stephanie gets the next phone call. If I ever get reception I will forward Mike phone to the 495 number. Retired to the trailer - Mary to bed early - I worked on setting up a logging database, a photo storing process for the digital images and this logging process. Hopefully before long will get it on the web page. Logging database should be able to produce financial logs and event logs to supplement this process. We will see how it develops. Enough for tonight.
